Gene Curley

Gene Curley has colored hundreds of campaigns for brands such as American Express, The GAP, IBM, Plavix, Burlington Coat Factory,  and Macy's. In 2009, Curley won the Al Gore Award for Garbage Dreams, a documentary cataloguing the experiences of families in Cairo, Egypt who are born into collecting and dealing with garbage and sanitation. Curley has spent his entire professional career at Nice Shoes, starting in the Shipping Department and working his way up to dubber and assistant before earning a job as a colorist. A self-professed comic book geek, Curley is a graduate of St. John’s University in Queens, N.Y.
