Project Notes
As a main sponsor of the Berlinale Film Festival in Berlin, Germany, Audi is always in search of cutting-edge events to host at their Audi Berlinale Lounge, with the press and public looking to them for innovation, technology and entertainment. MIRROR+SPARKS presented VR as a way to capture the festival audience’s attention.
MIRROR+SPARKS adapted the format that had been successfully deployed at Audi’s headquarters, bringing together live performance and virtual reality, while adapting to the new location and audience.
The event took the Audi brand story to a new level in terms of communication channels and interpreted it in a technically cutting-edge and creatively innovative way.
The Audi-branded VR cardboards were much sought-after and turned out to be much valued give-aways. By reusing and sharing the VR app and the branded VR cardboards, they carried on the brand story beyond the actual event, creating valuable touchpoints on Audi’s path to Customer Engagement.
