Allie Ames

Allie’s journey to the color suite began in the mailroom. On her first day working at a post house she met a colorist, whose job she perceived as simply watching movies. Ideal for a lifelong cinephile!

In the years following she’s brought this passion to countless projects, drawing inspiration from films like The Fall and Babbette’s Feast which she finds colorful, rich and painterly in their beauty.

In unsupervised sessions Allie is likely listening to comedy podcasts, while outside of the color suite she’s a bar trivia master and a two-time Jeopardy! auditionee.
