Sal Malfitano

Sal Malfitano has had a lifelong passion and appreciation for beautiful images – through painting, still photography and cinema. He holds constant curiosity about the aesthetic trends in color imagery, and about the process and science behind it all. He recently delivered the docu-series Growing Up for Disney+, where he enjoyed elevating the looks of verité, archival and studio footage weaving through the 10 episode series. He has also collaborated with filmmakers and artists to perfect the imagery of films such as the indie hit Heaven Knows, Lovesong, starring Riley Keough, The Showtime Documentary, Prison Fighters: Five Rounds To Freedom. Drunkbus, and most recently Billion Dollar Babies, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
