talia mazzarella

junior editor

Inspired by visually frenetic filmmakers like the Coen Brothers, Edgar Wright, and Tom Tykwer, Talia Mazzarella attended NYU's Film and TV program. Upon graduating, Talia started as a visual effects assistant, spending time with Superfad and Charlex where she developed a passion for taking on projects with VFX and technical challenges. She joined Nice Shoes in 2015, working with the studio’s creative directors and VFX artists to edit projects for Hasbro, Gillette, and Garnier, and aided the studio in entering the universe of virtual reality on one of their first immersive projects:  a 360 degree music video entitled “Sideshow.”

When she's not editing, Talia enjoys reading, crafting, and playing the same Ben Folds riff she's been playing for the past 15 years on piano.
