Nice Shoes has engaged New York-based Carolyn Reps for sales representation on the East Coast. The firm will focus on developing new post-production business among East Coast advertising agencies and brands. They will also pursue opportunities in entertainment and immersive media. The effort will be led by Carolyn Hill, the agency’s founder, and Amanda Rosenberg.
Hill sees great potential for Nice Shoes to build new relationships in the ad industry and believes now is a good time to capitalize on them. “Nice Shoes has a new energy and new approaches to the industry that will resonate with agencies and other post-production clients,” she said. “When we learned that they have added creative services for the growing immersive market, we were even more excited about working together. Their thinking is in tune with ours.”
“Nice Shoes is well known and respected in the New York community. That’s a huge asset,” agreed Rosenberg. “We like their plans for growth and are anxious to help them meet their goals.”
The addition of Carolyn Reps reunited Hill with Nice Shoes Managing Director/Executive Producer, Camille Geier. She and Hill worked together at Curious Pictures in mid-2000s. “After working together so closely and successfully at Curious Pictures. I’m so excited to get reunited with Carolyn” said Camille.
Carolyn Reps has enjoyed great success in representing directors, production companies, graphics designers, visual effects producers and others. It also acts as a consultant to the production community regarding the intricacies of international production. Hill is a 20 year industry veteran who has arranged more than a million dollars in advertising production. She also serves on the East Coast Board of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers. Rosenberg joined the agency in 2013 after a career as a television, advertising and broadcast producer.
